When the page was six years old, he was first attracted to computers, and he could play with the stuff lying around, such as the personal computers of the first generation that his father and mother had left. He became the first kid in his elementary school to turn in an assignment from a word processor. He started working on inventions and playing with computers. Later, in 1975, Larry Page enrolled in Okemos Montessori School, and after a few years, in 1991, he joined East Lansing high school. Then Larry Page joined the Interlochen Center of Arts, an art camp. Larry Page graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.

After graduation, Larry Page joined the computer science program at Stanford University. In 1955, Larry met Sergey Brin, a researcher who worked on the project. In 1996, Sergey Brin and Larry created their first search engine, Backrub. They used the Backrub web crawler for an algorithm that gave each website an internet quality score. This algorithm was called “PageRank,” which was both a reference page on the internet and Larry’s last name. After developing a crawler and an algorithm, the next logical creation was a search engine to display results. In 1998, he got kicked off campus for using too many University computer resources, Larry co-founded Google with fellow Stanford Ph.D. student Sergey Brin.

In 2011, Larry Page officially became the chief executive of Google. As the new CEO of Google, his two main goals were excellent autonomy development for the executives overseeing the main divisions, & higher levels of communication, unity, and collaboration among the teams. Then Larry formed what the media knew as the “L-Team,” a senior vice-presidents group who reported directly to Larry and worked near his office for the working week.

Also, Larry reorganized the senior management of the company and placed a CEO-like manager in Google’s top product divisions, such as AdWords, YouTube, and Google Search. In 2012, Larry ventured into hardware, and Google unveiled the Chromebook. The hardware product was a laptop that ran on a Google operating system, ChromeOS. In 2013, Larry took part in a rare interview with Wired, in which Steven Levy talked about Page’s Ten X mentality. As stated in the introductory blurb, Google employees are anticipated to create services and products that are at least ten times better than their competitors.

Besides this, in 2013, the page ventured into Google hardware and launched Calico, an American R&D biotech company. In March 2014, he participated in the TedX conference held in Vancouver (British Columbia), Canada. Later, in 2015, Page declared on Google’s official blog that Google had restructured into several subsidiaries of a new holding firm called Alphabet Inc. Larry became CEO of Alphabet Inc and Sundar Pichai assumed the role of CEO of Google Inc.

In 2019, Larry stepped down as CEO of Alphabet, the parent of Google, but remains a member of the board and a controlling shareholder. Also, Larry is an investor in Tesla Motors, which has invested in the technology of renewable energy, Google’s philanthropic arm, and other energy investments.
