Render was raised in Forest Park and later relocated to Atlanta on Cleveland Ave. Render began to take rapping seriously in 2016 following the passing of his close friend Rudy. Rapper Lil Gotit is Render’s younger brother.

Render’s parents were involved in his upbringing, despite their separation when he was a young child. Keed had a brief career at McDonald’s and Subway during his adolescence. Keed would almost daily record music because he lived close to a recording studio. In 2017, Render and his younger brother Semaja Render began recording music together, posting the songs online and achieving some local success. Additionally, Render had a daughter by the name of Naychur. He produced and published a lot of popular tunes. Sadly, he passed away on May 13, 2022.

Lil Keed’s musical journey gained momentum with the release of his debut song “Slatt Rock,” featuring Paper Lovee, in July 2018. He followed this with a mixtape titled “Keed Talk to ‘Em” in December of the same year. Keed collaborated with Lil Gotit, his younger brother, on Lil Uzi Vert’s song “Heavy Metal” in 2018.
