Josh Duhamel is an American actor and former model. In the American comedy-drama television series Las Vegas, he is best known for portraying Danny McCoy. Duhamel, who played football for his university’s team, initially intended to pursue a career in professional sports but became a movie and television star. He tried to start his own business in addition to studying biology to become a dentist. Josh received a Bachelor’s in Biology degree to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist. Yet, he could not enroll in a college to pursue a profession in dentistry due to his subpar academic performance. To make a living, he worked various odd jobs, such as joining a construction company.

A talent scout noticed him and suggested he try his hand at modeling. His big break came when, while working as a model, he was cast as an actor in a television series. On November 14, 1972, Josh Duhamel was born in Minot, North Dakota. His parents are Bonnie L. Kemper and Larry Duhamel. His mother, Bonnie L. Kemper, is a local businesswoman and a retired educator. His father, Larry Duhamel, works in sales for the advertising industry. His other family members are his three younger sisters, Mckenzee, Ashlee, and Kassidy Duhamel. Among his siblings, he is the oldest. When he was young, his parents divorced, and he finally moved in with his mother and his three younger sisters. His sun sign is Scorpio.
