Joseph Charles Piscopo was born on 17 June 1951. He is an outstanding radio show host, American actor, and comedian. He was also a member of Saturday night time live from 1980, wherein he performed a selection of ordinary characters. He starred in roles such as Moe in “Wise Guys “in 1986, Danny Vermin in “Johnny Dangerously” in 1984, Sidekicks as “Kelly Stone” in 1992, and Doug Bigelow in “Dead Heat” in 1988. In 1990, he was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. In 1973, Joe married Nancy Jones. They had one toddler and got separated in 1988. In 1997, Joe married Kimberly. They had three kids and divorced in 2006. Joe resided in Lebanon Township in New Jersey and lived in Tewksbury Township in New Jersey. In 2013, he was selected for the New Jersey Hall of Fame.

Early Life

Joseph was born in New Jersey. He was raised in North Caldwell. He completed his schooling at West Ess*x High School. He was a member of ‘The Masquers,’ the drama club in school. He never played the part the way it was written. After graduating in 1969, he went to Jones College in Florida. He graduated in broadcast management.

Career

In the summer of 1980, he was selected as a contract player for Saturday Night Live. After the success of Saturday Night Live, he moved to a wealthy Town of Alpine in New Jersey. Joseph is well known for his mimicry of celebrities like Frank Sinatra, an American actor, and singer. He rewrote the lines for Sinatra with his lyricist Sammy. Joseph and robin Duke played The Whiners. At the end of 1983, he left the Saturday Night Live show. In 1984, he was cast in Johny Dangerously with Michael Keaton. He also wrote a book named The Piscopo Tapes for Pocket Books.

In 1985, he recorded an album called ‘New Jersey’ on Columbia Records. In 1986, ‘The Joe Piscopo New Jersey Special’ was released, an ABC special. In 1987, he was also mentioned in Jammin Me, the number no one rock single. In the 1980s, he got involved in bodybuilding. In Saturday Night Live, he made Impressions of Bruce Springsteen, an American Musician. In April 1988, he was on the cover page of Muscle and Fitness magazines.
