Williams made his recording debut with “Long Gone Lonesome Blues,” one of his father’s numerous well-known tunes.

Early Life

The country music legend Hank Williams Sr. and his wife Audrey Williams, welcomed Randall Hank Williams into the world on 26th May 1949, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  After his father died in 1953, he was raised by his mother.

A lot of modern musicians visited his family as a child, influencing as well as teaching him several serious musical instruments and genres. Williams made his stage debut at the age of 8, singing his father’s songs.

Hank went to John Overton High School in Nashville, where Hank brought his guitar for music class as well as played for pep rallies & choral performances.
