Beverly D’Angelo was born on 15 November 1951 in Ohio, U.S. She is an American actress casted as Ellen Griswold in National Lampoon’s Vacation films in 1983. Beverly has appeared in more than 60 films. She was nominated for an Emmy Award in A Streetcar Named Desire in 1984 and Golden Globe Award for her role in Coal Miner’s Daughter in 1980. Beverly’s other movie roles include Doris Vinyard in American History X (1998) and Sheila Franklin in Hair in 1979. She has two children. Her son is Anton Pacino, and her daughter Olivia Pacino was born through IVF.

Beverly was born on 15 November 1951 in Columbus, Ohio, U.S. Beverly is the daughter of Priscilla Ruth, a violinist, and Eugene D’Angelo, a television station executive and bass player. Her father originates from Italy. Beverly’s paternal grandparents, Rosina D’Angelo and Eugenio, were from Italy. Beverly has three brothers – Tony, Jeff, and Tim. She did her schooling at Arlington High School in Arlington, Ohio. Beverly left her home at a teenage to study arts in Italy. In 2009, Beverly received an award from Arlington Alumni Association (UAAA) for her career achievement. She worked as an artist at Hanna-Barbera Studios and as a singer before acting. She was a backup singer for Ronnie Hawkins’s band, The Hawks.

Beverly started her acting career in the theatre. In 1976, she appeared in Rockabye Hamlet, also called as Kronborg: 1582, a musical based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet. In 1976, she made a debut in the episodes of the mini-series Captains and the Kings. In 1977, she gained a minor role in an American Drama “Annie Hall.” She starred in many hit movies like Hair, Every Which Way but Loose. Beverly was nominated for Golden Globe Award for category Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film Coal Miner’s Daughter. She also won a Country Music Association award for her album.

In 1980, she appeared in many comedy movies. In 1983, she starred in National Lampoons vacation with Chevy Chase. In 1994 she received a Theatre World Award for her performance in the play Simpatico.
