Melissa Joan Hart was born and raised in New York, and her birth date is April 18, 1976. She has a wonderful family with seven people in it. Her father is a carpenter, oyster hatchery worker, Shellfish purveyor, and entrepreneur by profession, and her mother was a producer plus Talent manager. Her parents have five children, and she was the first child of them.

Hart’s big break came in 1991 when she landed the lead role on the Nickelodeon comedy series “Clarissa Explains It All.” The show ran for four years and was very popular during that time. She received praise for her acting in the series and was nominated for Youth Artist Awards four times in a row, winning three of them. Hart continued her education at New York University after the show ended, nevertheless, after being offered the starring role in the 1996 TV film “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” she ultimately left school and did not finish her degree.
