He was raised with his brother Jerry Keitel and a sister named Renee Keitel. Keitel attended Abraham Lincoln High School at the age of 16. He went to the United States Marine Corps, where he was put up in Lebanon during Operation Blue Bat. For some years, he worked as a court Reporter.
