To improve his livelihood, he did jobs such as picking up fruits and delivering newspapers. Formerly when he was 14, Sammy developed an interest in music and learned to play guitar. Eventually, Sammy created his band named the “Fabulous Castilles.”

Sammy Hagar got his breakthrough in 1973 while he was associated with the band Montrose. Sammy recorded his successful debut single “I Can’t Drive 55.” Sammy produced his first solo album, “VOA.” Since then, he has been known as “Red Rocker.”
