She is the daughter of Mr. Robert Witt, a science teacher and a photographer, and Mrs. Diane Witt, a reading teacher at junior high school. From 1989 to 1996, Diane, her mother, held a Guinness World Record for the category of most extended hair. She took four piano lessons per week between the age of 10 to 14 and completed them nationally. She has completed her schooling at North Shore High School and her under graduation at Boston University.

Alicia made her debut in the film industry in 1984 through a science fiction classic, “Dune,” starring ‘Alia,’ directed by David Lynch. She appeared in the Sundance Film Festival’s film “Fun,” directed by Rafal Zielinski, in 1994. The short film narrates the story of two young, disturbed girls whose chase for fun results in murder. For this performance, she was nominated for an “Independent Spirit Award” & won the “Special Jury Recognition Award.” In 1998, She was cast in “Urban Legend,” a Columbia Tristar’s hit horror movie.
