Early Life
Thalia was born in Mexico City, Mexico on August 26, 1971. She grew up in a middle-class family. From a young age, she showed an interest in performing arts and started taking ballet and singing lessons.

Career
Thalia was nine years old when she was added as a vocalist to a kids’ band called Pac-Man. This group was created to participate in the televised music event called Juguemos a cantar. Thalia joined Timbiriche in 1986, replacing Sasha Sökol, who had left the group. Timbiriche had five albums in his discography at that point.
