Robert Hunter Biden is an American attorney. He is the son of U.S. President Joe Biden and Neilia Biden. Robert completed his schooling at Archmere Academy, a Catholic high school in Delaware. After graduation, he served as Jesuit volunteer corps at a church in Portland, Oregon. There Robert met Kathleen Buhle, and they married in the year 1993. In 1996, he graduated from law school. He then served as a consultant at MBNA Corporation. He was then appointed for a 5-year on the board of directors of Amtrak in 2006.

He and Beau, his older brother, was also injured but luckily survived. In January 1973, his father was promised to be in the United States Senate. His father remarried Jill Jacob. The couple had a daughter named Ashley in 1981. In 1992, he completed his BA in history from Georgetown University. In 1996, he transferred to Yale Law School.

Robert was a law graduate in 1996. The same year, he started working as a consultant in a bank holding company named MBNA corporation. In 1998, he was elected as an executive vice president at MBNA. He left MBNA in the year 2001. He then served at President Bill Clinton’s administration which focused more on e-commerce policy. He then decided to be a lobbyist. He co-founded the firm Oldaker, Biden, and Belair LLP. He was appointed as the board’s vice chairman from 2006 to 2009. In February, he resigned from the post of Chairman.
